札幌国際プラザ外国語ボランティアネットワークに11あるユニットの1つ、観光・日本文化ユニットの活動を紹介します。 We are members of the Sapporo International Communication Plaza Foreign Language Volunteer Network. The Network has 11 units, and the Sightseeing and Japanese Culture Unit is one of them.
Maruyama has a zoo and Hokkaido Shrine, but did you know that it is actually a mountain with an altitude of 225m? There is a climbing course, and you can climb up to the top and come down in about an hour and a half. Why don't you climb Maruyama with citizen volunteers in the fresh green season?

*Come in clothes and shoes which are easy to walk in. We recommend wearing long sleeves, long pants, and sneakers to avoid injury.

The Origami Workshop is held at the Sapporo International Communication Plaza Foundation. We make a hydrangea. Citizen volunteers teach in English and easy Japanese. Children and beginners are welcome.

Hinamatsuri is an annual celebration held on March 3rd with wishes for the healthy growth and happiness of girls.
Come and enjoy the tea ceremony, Japanese calligraphy, origami, and traditional Japanese toys at SICPF, which will be decorated with hina dolls.
We also appreciate ‘Hyottoko Dance’ and dance it together.

2月2日(日)に、5カ国6名の外国人参加者とボランティアが、札幌芸術の森野外美術館で和かんじきを楽しみました。
6 participants from 5 countries and the volunteers enjoyed the Japanese snowshoes at the Sapporo Sculpture Garden on Sunday, February 2nd.
和かんじきは竹や縄からできています。
Japanese snowshoes are made with bamboos and ropes.

Enjoy a winter walking tour for non-Japanese people with citizen volunteers in the Sapporo Art Park Sculpture Garden. Snowshoe while appreciating the sculptures and winter scenery.
