7月23日(日)、6カ国12名の参加者と13名のボランティアが参加して、「ゆかたを着て歩こう」を行いました。
We held "Try on a Yukata and Walk Around!" with 12 participants from 6 countries and 13 volunteers on July 23rd, Sunday.
参加者の皆さんは折り紙を使ってオリジナルのうちわを作りました。
The participants made their own uchiwa, Japanese fan, with origami.
そして散策に出発。まずは時計台。
After that, we went for a walk. This is the Sapporo Clock Tower.
大通公園からテレビ塔を望む。
The Sapporo TV Tower from the Odori Park.
そして創成川公園へ。
創成川は1886年に完成し、運河として使われました。2011年に今の形に整備され、多くの彫刻作品も設置されています。
We moved to the Souseigawa Park. The Sousei River was completed in 1886 and used as a canal. In 2011, it was refurbished to its present form, and many sculptures are installed.
彼は大友亀太郎です。彼が1866年に札幌村を開く際に開削した用水路「大友堀」が、現在の創成川の前身です。
He is Kametaro Otomo. The predecessor of the Sosei River is the irrigation canal "Otomobori", which was opened by Kametaro Otomo when he opened Sapporo Village in 1866.
暑い日が続く札幌ですが、ゆかたを着て散策、してみませんか。
