We are Still Accepting Participants in Ohanami!
時々雨が降る中、お花見の下見に行って来ました。円山公園の標本木（エゾヤマザクラ）はまだつぼみでした。お花見当日には晴れて桜が咲いていますように。
We went to a preview tour of our ohanami event in rain showers. Buds of the sample tree (Ezo-yamazakura) in the Maruyama Park were still closed. We hope that the event will be held under cherry blossoms in bloom and a clear sky.

2017/5/3 「お花見に行こう」"Enjoy Cherry Blossoms Together -Ohanami-"
市民ボランティアといっしょに「お花見」に行きませんか？たくさんの札幌市民が集まる円山公園と北海道神宮に行きます。いろいろな種類の桜や梅の花をたのしみましょう。
Let’s enjoy “Ohanami” with citizen volunteers. We will go to Maruyama Park and Hokkaido Shrine, where many Sapporo citizens gather. Enjoy walking in the park and seeing the flower of various types of cherry and plum trees.

集合場所：地下鉄東西線円山公園駅（T06）改札口
費用：無料

「滝野スノーワールド雪遊び体験会」を行いました
３月４日、滝野すずらん丘陵公園で「滝野スノーワールド雪遊び体験会」を行いました。イベントには１１か国から１４名の方が参加し「歩くスキー」と「チューブそり」を体験しました。
We held an event "Snow Activities Experience in TAKINO Snow World!" on March 4th at the TAKINO SUZURAN HILLSIDE NATIONAL PARK. 14 participants from 11 countries joined the event to experience cross-country skiing followed by tube sledding.
始める前にスキーの特徴について説明がありました。
真剣な眼差しで聞く参加者たち。
We had a lecture on charactaristics of cross-country skiing before the actual experience.
The participants listened to the explanation enthusiastically.
さぁ、準備体操が終わったら…
Now, what waited after warming-up was...
いよいよスタートです。
北海道歩くスキー協会の指導員さんに指導してもらいながら、アシリベツの滝を目指して進みました。
片足ずつ交互に体重を移動させて、ストックを使いながら前に進むのが基本です。
The start with a full of expectation.
We headed to Ashiribetsu Falls having instructers from Hokkaido cross-country association teaching us how to do it.
The basic move is to go forward using your poles and shifting your weight from one leg to the other leg.
アシリベツの滝（今回は20%凍っていました）に到着！みんなで記念写真をパチリ☆
Arrival to the Ashiribetsu Falls (20% frozen this time)!
Then we took photo to remember this moment☆
みなさん、どんどん上達して、帰りは笑顔があふれました。
楽しそうでしょう！
They have improved their technics by the time of going back, which brought them smiles on their faces.
Look at this! You sure can tell how much they enjoyed.
もちろん、最後の「チューブそり」も盛り上がりましたよ！
You bet we had a lot of exciting moments with the tube sledding, too!

歩き方を教えてもらったら、公園内の凍っている滝を目指します！
そのあと、「チューブそり」で遊びます。
