すずらん公園に下見に行って来ました
5月8日(月)、来月行うイベントの下見のため、滝野すずらん丘陵公園に会員4名で行って来ました。公園のフラワーガイドボランティアさんに案内をしてもらった後、イベントの内容を決めました。
昨日はまだこんな感じでしたが・・・
来月のイベント時にはこんな感じになっているはず。
公園の名前にも付いているスズランも、いろんな種類が見られるはずです。

Enjoy Cherry Blossoms Together -Ohanami-
5月3日（祝）、円山公園で「Enjoy Cherry Blossoms Together -Ohanami-」を
行いました。イベントには、11か国から16名の方が参加しました。
快晴、気温22度の絶好のお花見日和でした。
We held "Enjoy Cherry Blossoms Together -Ohanami-" event on May 3 at Maruyama Park, where was very famous for cherry blossoms.
16 participants from 11 countries joined the event.
It was bright and clear and the temperature was 22℃.
円山公園は、ジンギスカン、バーベキューをする人たちで混んでいました！
Only the time of blooming cherry blossoms, you can do BBQ at the park,
so it was very,very crowded with people who enjoyed BBQ!
円山公園を通り、北海道神宮第二鳥居へ歩きました。
こちらでは、参道の中央は神様の通り道なので、脇を歩くことを説明しました。
We walked through the park and went up to The Hokkaido Shrine.
We explained the participants that the approach to the hall of worship.
The center is considered as the special approach for deities,
so we walked keeping off the center.
表参道は、エゾヤマザクラが綺麗に咲いていました。エゾヤマザクラやソメイヨシノなど桜の種類について説明しながら、歩きました。
Ezo-yama-zakura (Yezo mountain cherry blossoms) bloomed beautifully.
We walked telling about the various types of cherry blossoms such as Ezo-yama-zakura, Somei-yoshino, and so on.
桜には青空が似合います。
Nice collaboration of cherry blossoms and blue sky.
公園内を一周したあと、レジャーシートを敷いて、お菓子や飲み物を食べながら、
外国人同士も国際交流。
After walking around the park, we had some rest having snacks and drink.
Some participants had changed e-mail address one another.
最後は、円山公園の標本木をバックに記念撮影。
今朝マレーシアから新千歳空港に到着して、円山公園に直行したシンガポールの方も桜を初めて見たと、喜んでいました。
Say "Cheese"! Smiles with cherry blossoms!
A Singaporean woman, who just arrived at Chitose Air Port this moring and directly joined the event really enjoyed her first Ohanami.

We are Still Accepting Participants in Ohanami!
時々雨が降る中、お花見の下見に行って来ました。円山公園の標本木（エゾヤマザクラ）はまだつぼみでした。お花見当日には晴れて桜が咲いていますように。
We went to a preview tour of our ohanami event in rain showers. Buds of the sample tree (Ezo-yamazakura) in the Maruyama Park were still closed. We hope that the event will be held under cherry blossoms in bloom and a clear sky.

市民ボランティアといっしょに「お花見」に行きませんか？たくさんの札幌市民が集まる円山公園と北海道神宮に行きます。いろいろな種類の桜や梅の花をたのしみましょう。
Let’s enjoy “Ohanami” with citizen volunteers. We will go to Maruyama Park and Hokkaido Shrine, where many Sapporo citizens gather. Enjoy walking in the park and seeing the flower of various types of cherry and plum trees.
