We held “Join Us to See Autumn Leaves -Kanpu-kai-” on Oct.15th at Sapporo Sculpture Garden. 17 participants from 8 countries and regions joined.
紅葉と青い空。観楓会にはもってこいのお天気に恵まれました。
Autumn Leaves and beautiful blue sky! We
were so happy the weather was great for the Kanpu-kai.
作品を見たり、触れたり、一緒に写真を撮ったりしながら紅葉を楽しみました。
Colored leaves with artworks brought us
smile. During the tour, we enjoyed them touching and taking pictures with as
well as looking at those.
「これは何に見えますか」（作品名：夏引き）
“What do you think that is?” (the title of this work is NATUHIKI)
「覗いたら何が見えるかな」（作品名：のどちんことはなのあな）
“What do you see when you look into the art?” (the title of this work is Luette et Narines)
Look what we found! There were chestnuts and acorns on the ground. It’s definitely autumn, isn’t it?
体験型の作品も数多く、今回大変人気があった作品のひとつが「位相」。
動いている途中を楽しむ作品です。ステンレス製の作品に自分の姿を映しながら周りを歩いて、作品に映り込んだ自分の姿と周りの景色が様々に変化するのを楽しめます。There were many works that you can actually experience. One of those was “Phase” and the participants seemed having a lot of fun with it. You can enjoy it while you move around the work. When walking around looking at yourself in this stainless-steel sculpture, you would be attracted to the continuously-changing reflection of yourself and the view around you.
朝は初霜・初氷の冷え込みでしたが、歩いていると上着を脱ぎたくなるほど暖かくなり
素晴らしい紅葉を見ることもできました。
It was so cold this morning that we even had a news that it frosted and iced for the first time of this year. Despite of such a cold morning, it turned out to be a warm day that we may take off our jackets as walking around the Sculpture Garden. We also could see the beautiful autumn leaves.
作品と自然のコラボレーションや、見て・触れて・体験する芸術の森の魅力を参加者に感じてもらえる観楓会になったのではないかと思います。
We hope that the collaboration of the artworks with the nature elements attracted the participants, as well as seeing, touching, and experiencing the great artworks here. It would be our pleasure if they enjoyed the Kanpu-kai.
