「夏まつり Summer Festival」を行いました

7月16日(土)午後1時〜4時、札幌国際プラザサロンで「夏まつりSummer Festival」を行いました。
86 人(うち19名は日本人）の方が参加してくれました。
出身国は、タイ、バングラデシュ、中国、韓国、インドネシア、トルコ、ポーランド、ネパール、台湾、香港、スロバキア、ブラジル、フィリピン、ドミニカ、アルゼンチン、メキシコ、ボリビア17か国・地域です。
Summer Festival was held on July 16 from 1 pm to 4 pm at Sapporo International Communication Plaza Salon. We had 86 participants; 67 foreign nationals from Thailand, Bangladesh, China, South Korea, Indonesia, Turkey, Poland, Nepal, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Slovakia, Brazil, Philippines, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Mexico and Bolivia.

参加した外国人の方たちには、ゆかたを着てもらい、盆（ぼん）踊りをしました。
Foreign participants put on Yukata and we danced Bon Dance together.

投扇興（とうせんきょう）や縁日（えんにち）遊び、折り紙をしたり、かき氷を食べてもらいました。
They played tosenkyo game, traditional Japanese summer festival games, and Origami and had shaved ice.

その後は、大通公園や時計台にも行き、写真を撮りました。
We walked to Odori park and Clock Tower for taking pictures.

ゆかたの着付け、盆（ぼん）踊（おど）り、投扇興（とうせんきょう）、大通さんぽ、時計台ツアー、おりがみ、縁日（えんにち）など、内容盛りだくさんで皆さんをお待ちしています。

Many activities are planned, including yukata dressing, bon-odori (dance), tosenkyo game, Odori walking, Clock Tower tour, origami and festival stalls.

「鳥獣戯画を描こう！Japanese Drawing!」を行いました。

6月11日(土)午後2時〜4時、札幌国際プラザサロンで「鳥獣戯画を描こう！」を行いました。17人の方が参加してくれました。

Choju-giga (Animal Caricatures: Japanese Drawing) was held on June 11 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Sapporo International Communication Plaza Salon. We had 17 participants.

鳥獣戯画には色々な動物が楽しそうに遊んでいる様子が描かれています。

お手本の中から気に入ったデザインを選ぶところから始まりました。

お手本を選んだら、筆ペンで線をなぞって練習です。

力を入れたり抜いたりの加減が、鳥獣戯画を描く上で楽しいポイントです。

練習を終えると、いよいよ本番。お手本を見ながら白い紙に描いてみます。

全体のバランスをとるのが難しくもあり、楽しくもあります。

楽しさのあまり、何度も挑戦する参加者もいました。

Various animals playing innocently are drawn in Choju-giga. 

Before drawing it on our own, we looked various examples and chose the favorite design. 

Then we practiced by tracing it with a calligraphy pen. This exercise helped us to learn how much to put stress or to ease up our fingertips, which was fun! 

After the practice, the time to draw on our own had come. Although it is difficult to make it neatly in a piece of paper, we enjoyed it so much. 

Some participants had tried to draw good ones several times.

みなさん、好きな色の筆ペンを駆使してユニークな鳥獣戯画が出来上がりました。作品は札幌国際プラザサロンに掲示しているので、是非見に来てください。
