3月4日(土)「滝野スノーワールド雪遊び体験会」を行います

「歩くスキー」（クロスカントリースキー）を体験してみませんか？
歩き方を教えてもらったら、公園内の凍っている滝を目指します！
そのあと、「チューブそり」で遊びます。
Why don’t you join us to experience cross-country skiing?
After a beginning lesson, we will walk to see thebeautiful frozen waterfall.
And we will try tube sledding as well.

「日本文化体験スペシャル」を行いました

2月4日(土)に札幌国際プラザで土曜サロン日本文化体験スペシャルを行いました。日本を含む8か国・地域の20名が来場されました。
We held the Saturday Salon Special Event "Japanese Cultures" on February 4th at the Sapporo International Communication Plaza. 20 people from 8 countries and regions including Japan joined.

まずは皆でひな人形を飾りました。First, we displayed hina dolls.

けん玉のパフォーマンス披露の後は、やり方を教えてもらいました。
After the kendama performance, we learned kendama from the performers.

日本茶の飲み比べクイズ、投扇興、折り紙も楽しみました。
The participants also enjoyed Japanese tea tasting quiz, tosenkyo and origami.

イベントの最後は琵琶の演奏と体験でした。
The last was the biwa (Japanese lute) performance and experience.

2月4日(土)「日本文化体験スペシャル」を行います

2月4日(土)午後1時〜4時、札幌国際プラザにて、「日本文化体験スペシャル」を行います。
様々な日本文化体験をご用意しています。
ひな人形の飾りつけ、折り紙、日本茶の飲み比べクイズ、投扇興、日本のおもちゃなど。
3時からは琵琶の演奏と体験もあります。
参加無料、予約不要。お気軽にお立ち寄りください。

We will have “Japanese Cultures” on February 4th, 1:00 p.m. 〜 4:00 p.m. at the Sapporo International Communication Plaza.
You can enjoy various Japanese cultures such as displaying hina dolls (traditional dolls for the Doll’s Festival), origami, Japanese tea quizzes, tosenkyo (hitting a target with an open fan), traditional toys and so on. The biwa (Japanese lute) concert and experience will start from 3 p.m.
Free of charge and no reservation required. Feel free to join us!

「雪を楽しもう」を行いました

1月14日、札幌芸術の森野外美術館で「雪を楽しもう」を行いました。10か国・地域から18名の方が参加しました。
We held “Joy to the Snow World!” on Jan.14th at Sapporo Sculpture Garden. 18 participants from 10 countries and regions joined.

まずはかんじきを履くところから。スタッフの方が履き方を教えてくれました。
We started with putting on kanjiki (snowshoes). Garden staffs taught us how to put on.

あとは新雪の上を進むのみ。道は私たちが作るのだ！
Next, we only took steps forward in the fresh snow! We made a way out of no way!

彫刻の多くは雪に埋もれていました。
Most of sculptures were under the snow.

二人の女性はほぼ雪に埋もれ、
Two women were almost hidden under the snow,

牛は雪の帽子をかぶり、
a cow wore a snow cap,

キリンは雪の中から頭だけを出していました。
a giraffe popped his head over the snow.

今年は雪の多い札幌ですが、このように雪を楽しむ方法を見つけていきましょう。
We have much snow this year, but you can find ways to make the snow fun like this.

本日「雪を楽しもう」を行います。外はとても寒いですが、新雪を歩くのは楽しいはず。暖かい服装で来てください。
"Joy to the Snow World!"  is carried out today. It will be freezing outside, but walking in the fresh snow should be fun! Come in warm clothes.
