5月11日土曜日、大通周辺を散歩しました。当日は風が少し冷たかったのですが、晴れました。参加者は六名の外国の方々と、ボランティアが四名でした。参加してくれた方の国籍は、台湾、マダガスカル、ドイツ、アメリカ、フィリピン。みなさん初対面でしたが、共通言語の英語と日本語を駆使して、それぞれお互いにコミュニケーションを取れていました。
On the 11th of May, we walked around the Clock Tower, Red Brick Office and Odori Park. It was a fine day with a bit of cold wind. Participants were 6 overseas visitors and 4 Japanese volunteers. 2 people were from Germany, one from Taiwan, one from Madagascar, one from the U.S.and one from the Philippines. Everyone met for the first time, but we had enough time to talk to each other and become friends.
10時札幌国際プラザ前を出発。
時計台を正面から望めるスポットへ。
日本で一番古い塔時計!
At 10 A.M. we started from the Sapporo International Communication Plaza and look at the Clock Tower from the 2nd floor view point.
This is the oldest clock tower in Japan!
次に道庁赤レンガへ。
桜が満開!
木々の緑と、桜のピンクのコントラストが美しい☆
亀もいました。
The next destination was the Red Brick Office, renowned as one of the greatest photo spots in Sapporo.
The cherry blossoms were full bloom!
The contrast between the gleen of the trees and the pink of the chreey blossoms is awesome!
There were turtles in pond.
大通公園8丁目へ到着。
イサム・ノグチ作のブラック・スライド・マントラで遊びます。
And then, we arrived at Odori 8 chome.
We played on a sculpture!
Its name is Black Slide Mantra, made by Isamu Noguchi, a famous Japanese-American artist.
公園内の花壇の花を愛でながら、創成川へ。
Enjoying the beauty of flowers planted in the Odori Park, we got to Sousei River.
最後に時計台前で記念撮影。
