[Report] Takino Suzuran Hillside Park Snowshoe Tour

2月3日(土)、9カ国・地域から子供を含む23名が参加して、「滝野すずらん丘陵公園スノーシューツアー」を行いました。公園の職員2名とボランティア4名がご案内しました。

On Saturday, February 3rd, 23 people, including children, from nine countries and regions participated in the "Takino Suzuran Hillside Park Snowshoe Tour". Two park staff and four volunteers guided the tour.

この日は朝までに20センチの雪が降ったそうで、新雪の上をスノーシューで歩くことができました。

20 cm of snow had fallen by morning that day, and we were able to walk on the fresh snow with snowshoes.

林の中を抜けると、見晴らしの良い眺望が広がりました。

As we passed through the forest, we were greeted with a spectacular view.

スノーシューを楽しんだ後は、チューブそりへ。なかなかのスピードが出ました！

We enjoyed the tube sledding after the snowshoeing. The sled went very fast!

Enjoy a winter walking tour for non-Japanese people with citizen volunteers in the Takino Suzuran Hillside Park. After about an hour long walk, the tour will head to a 200 meter long “tube slide”

Date: Feb. 3, 2024 (Sat.)

Venue: Takino Suzuran Hillside Park

Target participants: Foreign nationals (Children OK）

Meeting time and place:

1. No.2 of Makomanai Station Bus Terminal at 9:40 a.m.

2. The bus stop at the Suzuran Park East Entrance at 10:15 a.m.

（Please park at the East Entrance Parking）

Participation Fee: Free

* Bus fare or parking at your own expense.

* Please wear warm clothes and boots tall enough to keep snow out.

* We will disband around 12:30 at the park.

2. 10:15に「すずらん公園東口」バス停

（車は東口駐車場に停めてください。）

参加費：無料（公園までの交通費や駐車料金は自己負担） 

＊長靴（または丈の長いスノーブーツ）を履いてきてください。

＊12:30頃に現地解散となります。

[Report]札幌大学留学生交流会「もちつき大会」に参加してきました

今年も札幌大学から依頼を頂き、もちつき大会に参加してきました。

ボランティア7名が「お正月遊び」と「折り紙」に分かれて、留学生たちに日本文化を紹介しました。

[Report] Grape Picking

9月30日、6カ国・地域の9名の参加者と6名のボランティアがぶどう狩りを楽しみました。

9 participants from 6 countries and regions enjoyed the grape picking with 6 volunteers on September 30.

今回伺ったのは田中果樹園（札幌市南区藤野2条3丁目2-15）です。札幌駅や真駒内駅からバスで行くことができます。

We visited Tanaka Orchard (2-15, Fujino 2-jo 3-chome, Minami-ku, Sapporo). You can go there by bus from Sapporo Station and Makomanai Station.

1時間800円。1粒ずつもいで、食べていきます。どれが美味しそうかな？

The fee is 800 yen for one hour. We picked and ate a grape one by one from a bunch of grapes.  Which one looks delicious?

食べながらおしゃべり。Chatting while eating.

いろんな種類のぶどうが植わっています。

Various types of grapes are planted.

果物が美味しい季節です。皆さんも果物狩りに行ってみては？

* We are in the orchard from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

* You cannot bring back the grapes you picked. You can buy grapes at the store.
